Richmond Ringette is a community-based, non-profit organization. The association provides opportunities for boys and girls of all ages and abilities to participate in a great Canadian sport. Originally developed for girls, Ringette is played on ice with skates and six players per team. A straight, tapered stick used to pass, carry, and shoot a rubber ring. There is no intentional body contact. And the rules of Ringette result in a fast-skating, skillful passing game.
